What Y ou W ill B e R esponsible F or

Being a single point of contact (Consultant and Implementation SME ) for a c lient

Assistance with management of client’s technical and functional support issues

C oordination with Charles River’s support and product management teams

Monitoring and assisting with the issue escalation process

Guidance to client(s) on best practice usage of Charles River IMS

Informal training of client personnel in Charles River IMS

Interpret ation of workflow analysis documents ( BRDs ) and conversion of these documents into specifications for C harles River IMS configuration to ensure b est p ractice delivery

O ngoing communication and assessment of project status to the client and Charles River p roject m anager (in larger projects)

Communica tion of pertinent information on upgrades and major releases to client(s)

Manag ement of training and consulting resource requests

Project management of small er -sized implementation project(s) for client(s)

Proactive leadership in a client’s utilization of Charles River’s products and services

Maintain ing general awareness of industry changes/trends

Day-to-day delivery of Charles River IMS implementation project (s)

The role involves 50% presence on client’s site in Frankfurt and occasional travel .

What W e V alue

Extensive (min. 3-5 years) experience in a similar role implementing or maintaining financial systems

Front and/or Middle Office experience (order management, dealing with f und m anagers / t raders)

E xperience with Charles River IMS or an e quivalent system / platform (competitor)

Good i nvestment m anagement and market instrument knowledge in Front and/or Middle Office , e.g. f ixed i ncome/derivatives, OTC, e quity, c ompliance, IBOR, performance / attribution , post-trade & settlement, e x- a nte / e x- p ost r isk , and data interfaces

A specific previous area of focus e.g. in PMS, OEMS, r isk system , compliance, IBOR or SWIFT is desirable .

Education & Preferred Qualifications

F luency in English and German

Fluency in other l anguage (s) is of advantage

University degree should ideally be in Finance or Technology , or similar .

Additional R equirements

S uperior client facing & communication skills

Structured work style, can work both independent ly & in a team

T echnical knowledge , e.g. SQL or VBA

Experience dealing with users or clients from either a technical or business area

Solid grip on making presentations covering business, technical aspects or sales

Experience in managing smaller projects

Solid understanding of software / SaaS delivery life-cycle , and management of issues .
