EDU Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Together with Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, Hyundai MOBIS is one of the biggest companies within the Hyundai group. In addition to research and development of high-tech products for passenger cars, MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is responsible for the whole aftersales business of genuine parts and accessories for Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors in Europe.

Your profile

• University degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Mathematics/Physics.
• Catia V5 Intermidiate or higher skills required (essential)
• Experience in die-casting housing design(Engine, Transmission, Motor, Reducer)
• 3+ years of experience in Automotive industry
• Strong self-management skills and high flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
• Experience in reducer NVH analysis is a plus.
• Team player and excellent analytical skills.
• Very Good Communication Skills in English.

Your tasks

• Design EDU system(e-Powertrain system) architecture design for electric vehicle application.
• Design EDU housing & cover parts according to its process(Die-casting, Sand casting).
• Design rib patterns in terms of stiffness and mold flow.
• Establish a relationship with EDU sub parts(housing, gear, etc.) suppliers.
• Create EDU assembly modeling and assembly drawings.
• Create housing parts tolerance based on EDU system tolerance stack analysis.
• Identify requirements from customer RFQ and review design concept according to the requirement.
